Question
Not the control, but the actual engine. Do I need to buy 2 of those or are there units that can open both doors (independently)? If so, can you link an example so I can research? How much should I expect to pay for everything including installation? (so I know I'm not getting ripped off when I ask for quotes)
Answer
You need 2 separate openers. Each opens one of the doors. You CAN, however, get a 2 button remote and program one of the buttons to open each door. For the opener itself, though, you need one for each. Depending on the units you choose, and where you live, expect to pay between $250 and $300 for each, installed. Hope this helps. Permalink:
